Got appointment easily, when arrived at shop check in process was smooth. Sam inspected all necessary areas while doing scheduled service. Made life easy by setting periodic reminders.

I've been taking my cars to Sam at Transmasters for years now, and I am very happy I found him when I moved to San Diego. Having a mechanic you trust, especially as a woman, is not so easy to find sometimes. He is very fair at pricing and I will even call him if I am getting a routine work done somewhere else to run the price by him to make sure other guys are not over charging me. I've had a newer car last 3 years, so I haven't seen him for a while, but my check engine light came on so I had a good reason to visit. He totally took care of me and fixed the issue. My car runs significantly better. Highly recommend these guys for any car work you need, but especially transmission and engine work. Sam and his guys really know whats going on with your car. I always send my friends here.

I took in my Ford Fiesta because I needed new break pads. Sam was extremely friendly and his crew had me in and out in no time. No doubt I will be back for repeat business!

Sam is wonderful! Went in thinking I would need a transmission repair. He took us on a long test drive to get a proper diagnosis and showed us on the computer it was not the transmission but the engine was misfiring due to a bad coil. I had it to the dealer repeatedly and they could not find the issue even after keeping it a week at one point. Another well known transmission shop was ready to replace the clutch on the transmission but I did not move forward as there was no real proof as to what was truly wrong. Sam came through with what the issue was and what a relief to learn no $4,000 transmission repair, just $600 to $800 would be the cost. Repair has been completed and so far the issue seems to be resolved. Thank you Sam for taking the time to find the true issue and your outstanding professional customer service!
