I went to Transmasters 8008 Miramar Rd Mira Mesa. Sam checked out my transmission on the spot at no charge and identified the problem in a few minutes. I agreed with the diagnosis, and had him fix it. Very good work, I recommend this shop.

Rick has given me great service on some difficult problems (rodents ate wiring loom)(earlier "repair" by another "mechanic" left bolts unsecured on torque converter)(water pump)(short in ignition)(alternator failed). He has been very fair in the hours charged for the non-standard repairs such as the wiring loom, bolts on torque converter and short in ignition. I also use him for routine oil changes. It's the kind of service one would get years ago when there was a neighborhood mechanic you'd been going to for years. He's very knowledgeable and has the latest in electronic diagnostic devices.

I have been using TransMaster for the past 8-10 years. Sam has always been truthful and honest when it comes to auto repairs. If it were not for Sam, i probably would take my business elsewhere. Had an amazing experience with these guys! As a female in my early 20's I was a little hesitant to go somewhere new, I'm from Arizona and no longer have a family mechanic I'm comfortable with going to. I don't know much about cars, and I didn't wanna go somewhere and be taken advantage of cuz of my lack of knowledge. I brought my car in not knowing the extent of how bad all my repairs would be. Instead of trying to put a bunch of parts and hours in my car and have me out a bunch of money, Sam and Gary were honest telling me nothing they could do would make my car run for more then a few months. Very happy with the honesty I found a new car and sold my old. When I needed work on my new they got me in right away, remembering who I was and making sure I got my car back in a timely fashion. I live in downtown and wouldn't imagine going anywhere else! Very friendly and welcoming! Great customer service! And great work too!
